From the left are classic desserts of Chile: Broskas (doughnuts) - They are exactly like the ones I learned to make in foods class in high school. I used to make them all the time at home. (Remember, Okaasan?) Maizenitas - Two shortbread-like cookies stuck together with manjar with the sides dipped in coconut or crushed walnuts. (Coconut in this photo). Queque (pronounced keke) - Basically banana bread without the banana. So,…sweet bread? My host mom bakes them with crushed walnuts.
